Comments regarding Hiring |
We participate in virtual and in-person OCIs and job fairs that are offered to 2L students through their respective law schools. Call-back interviews will be conducted virtually via Zoom. Our summer associate program will be in-person, and the summer associates will have the opportunity to work in-office and remotely. We require all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. |

Rothwell Figg seeks candidates with backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and other life sciences, and all degree levels will be considered. We prefer candidates who have top academic credentials, excellent written and oral communications skills, and the ability to work well on a team. For patent prosecution, candidates must be eligible to sit for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office exam. |

We provide our summer associates with substantive work that accurately reflects what it is like to be a full time associate at the firm. We work in sophisticated technological areas such as biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, computer hardware, software and the Internet, semiconductors, advanced electronics, and a wide variety of medical and mechanical systems and devices. As a summer associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys on both patent litigation and patent prosecution matters. You will get substantive work conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and briefs, working with a team on litigation matters, as well as reviewing and responding to USPTO Office Actions. |
