The firm’s workplace conduct and anti-harassment policies provide guidance on the reporting structure for an individual to report any concerns of workplace misconduct. All employees, including summer interns and lawyers, are provided with these policies at time of hire as part of the Lawyer Policy Manual and they are also available on the Firm’s intranet. |

All employees, including summer interns and lawyers, receive the Firm’s policy on Confidentiality at the time of hire as part of the Lawyer Policy Manual and it is also available on the Firm’s intranet. |

Ballard Spahr recognizes that its people are its greatest asset and that individual health is a key component of workplace excellence. We launched a successful firmwide wellness program -- Being Well @ Ballard -- in the beginning of 2019. The program is run by the firm's Wellness Committee, and it was created to identify opportunities to empower lawyers and staff to be proactive about wellbeing. The program provides health information (both written and through live presentations) and environmental and social support to promote healthy lifestyles. A few highlights of our wellness program from the past year include: - We launched an 8 week walking challenge with Walker Tracker. - Hosted Mental Health First Aid Leadership Workshop for firm management. - We signed the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Well-Being Pledge, an important step towards raising awareness, reducing problematic substance use and mental health issues and helping our lawyers to thrive in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. We are focused on the ABA’s 6 dimensions of wellbeing as follows: Physical – Healthy Lifestyle, Help-seeking when needed Emotional – Manage Emotions and Protect Mental Health Intellectual – Learn, Pursue Challenge, Keep Developing Spiritual – Meaning and purpose Social – Connection, Belonging, Contributing Occupational – Satisfaction, Growth, Financial Stability - We host quarterly firmwide lunch & learns, which have included:
