Jones Day’s foundational values as set forth in its Firm Manual include an obligation that all of its lawyers and staff act with integrity in their interactions with each other. More specifically, Jones Day maintains Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment policies which set forth the Firm’s commitment to ensuring that its workplace is free of discrimination or harassment of any kind. Those policies provide a reporting process for those who feel that they have been subjected to discrimination or harassment as well as the Firm’s commitment to investigate any such reports promptly and take appropriate action. These policies also contain an explicit provision prohibiting retaliation against any individual who raises complaints or concerns under the policies. |

Jones Day does not have a policy regarding non-disclosure agreements as applied to summer associates, associates, and/or other non-partner lawyers. Jones Day does not require its summer associates, associates, and/or other non-partner lawyers to sign non-disclosure agreements upon their hire or as a condition to their employment with the Firm. |

Jones Day’s alumni program launched in March 2020 with the distribution of the Firm’s ONE Connection alumni newsletter to approximately 5,000 alumni globally. The Firm's culture, strength, and success over the past 130 years is predicated on the strong relationships between its lawyers and the clients that Jones Day has had the good fortune to represent. Jones Day's ONE Connection alumni newsletter is designed to inform and engage the Jones Day community, current and past, regarding Firm news, accomplishments, people, and programs--all in an effort to grow, support, and learn from one another. |
