We have an Attorneys of Color Group, Black Firm Members Group, LGBTQ+ Group, and Women of Robins Kaplan (WoRK) group, which hold periodic meetings to connect firm members to one another, achieve designated DEI goals, and serve as resources to potential candidates.

Our affinity group members also organize a number of annual events including:

An annual Attorneys of Color Conference to discuss common concerns and ideas, share individual experiences, obtain tools and skills to enhance professional development, perform outreach and service to communities of color, develop mentoring relationships, interact with firm leaders, and participate in teambuilding activities. The conferences provide opportunities for attorneys to collaborate with clients and focus on business development skills, and play a large role in discovering, discussing, and finding solutions to issues related to retention and advancement of attorneys of color at the firm.

An Annual Women’s event focused on professional development and leadership, as well as informal quarterly events. Recent topics include women's leadership, client development, finding mentors and promoters, work-life balance, networking, writing self-evaluations, financial well-being, and issues facing women of color in the workplace.

Annual Pride Month programs to celebrate and raise awareness of the issues facing LGBTQ+ individuals. This typically features social events in all our offices, a firm-wide CLE, and fundraisers to support non-profit organizations that align with the Pride CLE topics.
