Ballard Spahr offers Diversity Fellowship opportunities in several office locations each year in partnership with clients. Through an application process, we award fellowships to student s to participate in our summer program. The fellowship recipient is eligible to receive up to a $30,000 award in addition to the summer associate program weekly salary. Our Business Resource Groups comprise lawyers and administrative staff employees (as relevant) with shared cultural, experiential, or job-related interests, experiences, and/or backgrounds. BRGs support retention through informal mentoring, internal networking, business development support, and recruiting. They regularly invite internal and external speakers to speak on various topics related to personal and professional development. Their goals and activities are carefully planned and linked to the firm’s business goals. The groups are open to Ballard Spahr lawyers and administrative staff employees (as relevant) interested in supporting the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
