We are a signatory to the American Bar Association’s Well-Being Pledge and are continually seeking ways to enhance our benefits and wellness programs, including bringing in outside speakers who can address well-being from a variety of perspectives. For example, we had a speaker discuss how the current environment has affected those struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health disorders, and how best to address these current challenges. We have taken steps to ensure that our mental health offerings specifically address challenges faced by people of color. In addition, we have also taken deliberate steps to reduce the focus on alcohol at events. For example, in our summer associate program we have increased the number of activity and wellness-related events, including workout/gym/exercise classes. All employees and their families have no-cost access to Journey Meditation's digital library, which features more than 50 different on-demand classes to allow Cravath employees to meditate anytime and anywhere they like, and also allow them to participate in live classes at their convenience 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We also retain an external Employee Assistance Program, whose benefits are available 24/7 to all employees (and their families) and include access to wellness and mental health/substance abuse services/experts, and various other information and resources on well-being that all Firm employees can--and are encouraged to--access confidentially and free of charge. Additionally, we offer a Doctors in the Office program, which offers attorneys on-site, free, primary care doctors visits. |
