Comments

We offer flexible part-time arrangements to lawyers who choose to work a modified or reduced schedule. Our policy generally discourages entry-level part-time arrangements, but such arrangements may be considered under certain circumstances. With respect to schedule, in most instances, attorneys will identify particular days and/or hours the lawyer anticipates being away from the office, but they must have sufficient flexibility to be available to respond to unpredictable client needs.

Are attorneys who work part-time and exceed their agreed upon part-time hours compensated in some manner for the additional hours?
Comments

When we determine overall annual compensation for our part-time employees, we take into account several factors, including whether the part-time associate worked in excess of their planned hours.
