Please describe your firm's policies for summer associates, associates, and/or other non-partner lawyers regarding employment disputes and workplace misconduct

The Firm encourages any questions employees may have relating to their employment, the Firm, or its operations. Our open door policy encourages employees to speak to any partner or administrator, including the Chief Human Resources Officer or Human Resources Manager, about any matter of special concern.  Any questions about one’s position, wages, hours, employment disputes or anything connected with work can be frankly and fully discussed with any of these individuals. Our Human Resource Department is primarily responsible for handling workplace misconduct.

Dinsmore does not utilize non-disclosure agreements or mandatory arbitration agreements.

Dinsmore is committed to the professional development, health, and well-being of all attorneys and staff members. This is addressed through programming by our Professional Development Committee, Leadership Academy, office specific initiatives, and resources and opportunities through our Benefit Department. We offer an employee assistance program, onsite biometric screenings, mobile mammography, onsite flu shots, and onsite skin cancer screenings. We have wellness challenges that encourage employees to live a healthy lifestyle. As a firm, we participate and sponsor various community races. Throughout the year there are multiple volunteer opportunities, so one can better themselves while also focusing on our community and pro bono initiatives.
