Rotation for junior associates between departments/practice groups? Case-by-case
Is rotation mandatory? Case-by-case

Junior associates do not formally rotate through different departments (Business, Litigation, Investment Management, Tax, or Trusts & Estates), but will often collaborate with attorneys across departments on different projects. Junior associates may rotate between different practice groups within a department. E.g., Entry-level Business associates can expect to rotate through our Finance, Corporate & Securities, and Real Estate practice groups in their first couple of years. Entry-level Litigation associates can also expect to receive assignments from a variety of practice areas (e.g., commercial, financial services, employment, insurance, etc.) in their first few years at Stradley.
